I've decided to re-work my photography project about hierarchy. At one point it was about toilets, now its about body hair: Im hairy, its embarrassing, I've embraced it... ranking them from most embarrassing to least. Can you guess where on me they are? Sorry if this grosses you out-final piece to come.

"Playing Cards" are my latest project. Omar and I made 3 sets of idea development cards for musicians. The cards act as a starting point to new ideas and perhaps untapped compositions. They leave plenty of open space yet still provide a general structure. I loved working on this and am very happy with the final result. Give a shout if you would like to give them a try.

Black Celebration

So, I've been working on a lot of things lately. This is one of them.

I wanted to see if I could wear ten pieces of clothing from ten years. In an obsessive rampage I began to organize my closet from the year 00 to 09. I then chose the black clothing from each year to compile an outfit using black as an expressive mood for my general feeling over the last decade. It's essentially an emotional timeline told through clothing.

I will post the finish product when its all printed, folded, pretty and happy. click to make big and read.

psychedelic hangover

The days are getting longer and the nights are not as damn cold. I've had a few, umm, eventful nights out and as a result I am in desperate need of a dry out, I blame me turning 30 in a few - eek, months. Woke up from an amazing night of friends, music and celebrity party crashing. *no name dropping. I did however chat with an (almost) idol of mine...

The show was great and I am very proud to have been a part of it.

I've made the effort to create a blog so I might as well start the blogging... After a very hard month I finally have some time to take a breath. Although I'm still writing my dissertation proposal and have Mom and Bob arriving in a few short days, I am cherishing these few days of rest... thats all I have for now. here is a picture to tide you over.
